Located on 59 acres in southeast Baton Rouge, Woodlawn High School was the first new public high school to be built in East Baton Rouge Parish in over 27 years. The $19.5 million facility included 185,000 sq. ft. that has the capability to house 1,300 students. It includes an athletic complex complete with two gymnasiums, two practice fields, a football field with track, and a variety of ball fields. The school also includes an ROTC facility, an auditorium for 400 students, 50 classrooms, a band room, a computer lab, and wiring for computers in each classroom.
