Incorporating 21st century design concepts appealing to a new generation of children to enhance their learning experience.
The new Early Learning Center (ELC) will house 5 Pre-K Classrooms and 1 D-K classroom along with multi-functional spaces allowing maximum flexibility. The circulation spaces are used for gathering and display amid meandering walls, lined with bench seating. The design also incorporates display areas for children’s “art”. A mini classroom amphitheater provides an alternative learning space, while a larger shared version allows multiple classes to interact or have small performances for parents. The interior architecture and color palette is playful, and intriguing to the age group occupying the facility while maintaining an exceptional educational platform to build upon.
