Focusing on the spirit, mind, and body, the facility provides athletes with a state-of-the-arts weight training environment designed to strengthen teams for competition and encourage a lifetime of wellness.

The building offers the space and resources for improved opportunities to educate and train both students and athletes. Programmed spaces include weightlifting stations, workout areas, a nutrition station, and a turf functional training area. A glass and steel facade is located towards the north end of the track; it provides a view of the field, showcasing this component of a well-balanced education.

The main 2 story volume encloses a multi-functional fitness space that includes lifting platforms, cardio machines, medicine ball walls, a turfed agility training area, and outdoor fitness decks. The main roof continues along the south facade to provide shading for the terraced spectators plaza. The 10,000 square foot fitness program is supported by large team locker rooms, coaches offices, a conference room, public event restrooms, a concession stand and multi-functional classrooms. In addition to student functions, the classrooms also provide space for alumni events. Operable walls can open the space out to the terraced plaza, providing views of the field and campus.
